Be Sure Your Sin Will Find You Out
In this passage of scripture we find Moses has been enlisting the children of Israel to go into war. The tribes of Gad and Reuben however did not have any interest in entering the promised land. Moses being the wise leader said shall your brothers go fight and you stay? NO! You must fight. Of course they agreed to go fight only if they could return to where they were living at the time. Moses said okay but if you don't fight then it will be a sin unto you and be sure your sin will find you out.
We as Christians are at war with the devil and the world. And if you are not serving in the Lord's army then it is a sin unto you. Proof? James said "To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him IT IS SIN." We had better be about our Father's business. Is there some work or service that you know God has called you for? If you decide that your just not going to do it then it is a sin unto you and be sure your sin will find you out! And it will. It will find you out in your conscience, it will find you out in your life, and it will find you out in the lives of your family.
