Jesus' authority on display:
9:8 "And they praised God for sending a man with such great authority." Not only was Jesus' teaching full of God's influence so that it was undeniable to anyone (See the end of Matt. 7), Jesus also was able to join with his Father in healing physical AND spiritual brokenness. That's what happens when the power or authority of God is at work! In Jesus, we are invited to participate with him in seeing this healing power spread throughout the earth. "Your kingdom come" means we're praying to see the influence of the King change the world through His words and works!
