Freedom!!!!!

• John 17:17 (ASV)

17 Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

In this verse Jesus is pleading on his disciple’s behalf to his father. He asks that they be protected and that they will be taught truth. Truth which is the word of God, sets us free.

I think this verse is helpful in so many different ways because it tells me Jesus asked for God to teach me the truth. I know that truth sets me free. So now I am being taught the truth by God so that I can live in freedom through him. I know this truth so I can share the truth with others to free them.

Lord help me to remember that your word is truth. Help me realize that your truth sets me free so I can live a life to the fullest for you.
