Who cares when the end is coming?

Are you gambling that you can time it right and ask for forgiveness at the last second? If we are procrastinating with our faith and salvation and just playing along then we are in no way living out the gospel as it was preached. Jesus is trying to bring us to the realization that we are to bring about love and understanding today, in this life, right now. If we trust in his grace then we will be able to speak bluntly like the centurian did and be able to hold our heads high as he intructs those that ask about the end. We can connect ourselves to the true nature of existence when we trust in the strength of God and not in our own. Why would we fight with ourselves? When Jesus is talking to the crowd about driving out spirits he is alluding to the original spirit that God breathed into us in Adam. Since we have that spirit in us we should not fight that spirit but work with it to live like the centurion did and believe wholeheartedly and act on that belief to bring positive change in the world. I pray that you find that calling that God has placed in you and not fight against it, but rather listen and act on it to bring about his kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.
