God comforts us

6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus

For me this verse is just encouraging this morning to see how God comforts us...not by miracles...not by the appearing of angels or something supernatural but by something normal...using fellow human beings who has His Spirit. God uses people around us, friends, fellow christians to comfort and encourage us. Let us not underestimate this way of God's comforting. Let us be alert how God use the people around us. Let us not go into a mode where we try to live the christian life alone or with an ideology that says : It's just me and God and forget about the rest.

To God all the glory. The God of all comfort who comforts us by people and friends.
