The Leader Of The Pack
Joshua was charging the people to do right and put away the idols in their life. Then he says well if you find it too hard(if it seem evil unto you) to serve the Lord then choose today whom ye will serve. Then that famous passage we see in homes across America,"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord". Yet so many times some ballgame, some TV show, some so called family time, or some other thing keeps families out of church and out of God's blessing. Would to God, that men across America today would have the manhood to stand up and say there will be nothing between my family and God. If we hang a plaque or picture with the phrase "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord" may it not be just for decoration.
