They Resembled The Children Of The King

Gideon by this time knew that God was on his side and he did not fear men. Now, here he stands before two kings and simply asked them what manner of men were they that you slew at Tabor? In other words were they evil, unjust, wicked men. Were they just young men without direction? Were they murderous men who had wronged you? What manner of men were they? Then the two kings answered "As thou art, so were they; each on resembled children of the king" What a testimony we as Christians are children of the King of Kings but so many times we don't resemble anything but some peasant. We need to act like we are not as we were!
Then I noticed in verse 20 Gideon tells Jether his son to slay the two kings but he feared for he was but a youth. Don't tell me you can't accomplish any thing for God because your too young. If God ask you to do something he will give you the strength to do it. Young and old alike lets resemble children of the King!
