Creation of light and woman
Discussions of plants not growing without a sun is silly. If you remember God creates day and night on day 1(Gen. 1:3-5) so the plants created on day 3 had light. the Sun and stars are created just to govern and give his later creation man a clock for the seasons and the passing of time. So there is no argument about plants not living or living in darkness. The second story of creation when man is created first and all things are brought to or given him is a depiction of mans importance in Gods eyes. All other creation was made for him. It also gives more detail about how things were named and that men and woman were made of the same flesh and bone separated from each other and so needing to come back together as one to complete oneself.
