Genesis 3:15 "One of the key verses of God's Plan"
Here is where God first alludes to his Kingdom (Rule or Dominion). We hear Jesus talk about the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven (They are one in the same). Matthew refers to Kingdom of Heaven because of the Jewish audience, while the others did not. Genesis 3:15 reveals to us that God will "put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." Satan thought that he had won the battle because he caused Adam and Eve to sin, but here we see that God's intention was to bring his son, Jesus, to "Crush" Satan. As we read in the New Testament, this "Crush" happens at the Death and Resurrection and second coming of Jesus. All through the Old Testament people were talking about the coming Kingdom of God. They thought it was a physical Kingdom (and one day it will be), but the battle was won in the spiritual realm with the spoken words of Genesis 3:15! Just read the Old and New testament with his Kingdom in mind and see what God reveals to you. Psalm 45:6 says, "Your Throne, Oh God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your Kingdom." God does not operate in our time spectrum. He is King over all! Now and Forever!
