Isaiah 28

As I read this I see the obvious reference to the Lord - a messianic prophecy if you will. It is great to know and be partnered with a God who knows everything. Not just what is happening now, but everything that has happened and everything that will happen.

Just look at these verses in Isaiah, they talk about in great detail what will happen in hundreds of years in the future - our God cares enough for us that He would go through awful pain and agony on earth, to pay for the mistakes that we make (and will make).

GIves you pause when you think about sinning again eh? Just think every time you sin, you are putting Christ through the pain of the cross - not that he is recrucified, but again you are sharing in crucifying him. You are part of the pain he went through. Not a nice thought.

But a great thought is that no matter what I am experiencing at the moment, God knows, and he cares, even though in the midst of crisis it may not feel like it - He really does care, and he has already done something about it.

Lord you are awesome.
