Ok, I got a short one for you…Acts 10:16: This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

Do you know what happened? Here, don’t grab your Bible, let me tell you…Peter! That’s what happened. God gave Peter a vision of a sheet with a bunch of ‘unclean’ animals. Then God told him, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” You know the verse that allows us to eat tasty bacon! (I think it has some other important implications for me, but that’s not the point of this…later.) So here we find Peter dealing with the number 3 again; 3 times before the rooster crows, do you love me 3 times, and now this…3 times!

So here’s my application…How many times does God tell me to do something 3, 4 or 5 times before I listen? (or 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, etc…you get the idea!)

Prayer: Thank you for you patience and loving-kindness, Lord. Show me the areas of my life that I need to change and give me strength to change them. Amen
