Worldly Grief and Spiritual Grief
If a person is regretting the sin/mistake he has committed regarding spirituality, then he will repent and try to correct that problem. He knows that God will forgive him of it and that everything will go back to normal. In return, his relationship with God will increase in strength. If a person has sorrow/grief in his life because of worldly actions, then that person might look for ways to control that situation. One method he could use is suicide. He knows that if he dies, there would be no pain afterward....everything will be over. We as Christians know that death is not the ONLY solution to our problems.
