February 2 (day 2)
This chapter in James address the fact that you can't have faith without good deeds. I struggle with this personally because lack of action shows a lack of faith in my life. Sure, I say God is all powerful but when I feel led by the Holy Spirit to talk to someone and then don't it is a total lack of faith on my part. I don't feel that God really wants to use me...he'll use someone else I tell myself.
Yesterday I told my parents I was going to start praying over all our meals because I felt it was necessary to put Jesus in all of our lives. I was super nervous, but I did it and my parents think its a great idea. Couldn't have gone any better. Yay Jesus!
