Prayer
It is interesting to me to take note of how when Peter and John and all the believers prayed they first praised God, then they told God their very specific issue that they were having, and finally asked for help with this problem. They did not ask God to remove the problem but to help them with the problem. I think so often we just want the problem to "go away" when really... God might make the problem go away but also He might - more often - give us the ability, the strength, the courage, and the attitude to persevere through the problem. This is an important fact to remember while we are praying. We will be closer to God if we choose to pray this way and once we get through the problem, we will be blessed with a better understanding and filled with the Holy Spirit.
