Good Deeds
"Are we being questioned today because we've done a good deed for a crippled man?"
I find that so extremely cool! Because of one act in the Name of Jesus, the whole of Jerusalem was turned upside down! Not only 5,000 + came to believe in Jesus Christ but this set the high council on their ears. This makes me wonder what small acts to we do, when done in the Name of Jesus, that have the potential to reach our fellow worshipers, our neighbors and communities? "Everyone was praising God ...."
My prayer today is vs 29b-30: "Give us, (me) your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your had with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the Name of your Holy Servant Jesus."
