Stephen - the first martyr for the faith - once again I am humbled by those who sacrifice everything for the Lord. I could do the first part of his job - help the poor and the widows - I'm ashamed to say that I don't know that I could do the second part of his job - be stoned and still praise in the midst of it all. No he's not Christ and I don't worship him by any means, but I believe he is an example of where we all want to be. Where we would be if we were put in a position like his. I pray constantly for faith of a mustard seed to move that mountain. It is people like him who inspire us all to do better, to be bolder. That is why God puts those in the Bible. He also puts people like Saul/Paul to remind us that no matter where we come from, He can use us. And that is why I continue on and continue to pray for His mission for me.
