Made in God's Image
Do we really understand this? "Made in God's Image". Just say it a couple of times. "I am made in God's image". We are reflections of his glory! He has created us with a capacity larger than we can see.
In Luke 8:26 to 8:39 we read about a demon possessed man that Jesus meets. The demon's name was "Legion" because there were many demons in the man. Upon the command, Jesus sent the demons into a herd of pigs that ran over a cliff and drowned.
Just as this one man had a whole legion of demons in his life, our own spiritual capacity is large enough to hold vast amounts of God's glory. We were created with purpose, and our lives are created in "His Image"!
What is your view of God? Do you have a small box to put him in? Or is he larger than the universe?! Furthermore, do you see yourself as created in "His Image"? We can have an attitude like Moses when he said, "Show me your glory!" (We can desire God's glory) Moses' face shined after encountering a glimpse. Do you want His glory and image to shine through you? Your glory capacity is great!
