Raise your hands for the Lord
Whenever I think of this story of Moses holding up his hands in order to give Joshua and the army of Israelites victory over the Amalekites, it reminds me of raising hands to praise God. For Moses' arms grew tired and wery, but as long as he kept them up the Israelites kept winning. So just as we lift our hands and arms to the Lord in praise and keep them up even though they may start to burn and fatigue...remember that raising yours arms in worship keeps the enemy at bay so we may be victorious in Christ.
