Wisdom; Understanding

• Proverbs 9:10 (NIV84)

For the longest time, proverbs says to get wisdom and get understanding.. Then I read wisdom personified as a woman! I was so lost in that.. how is wisdom a woman? Proverbs says 'She this..' and 'She that..' but now I think I understand a little bit more.

Proverbs 9:10 says..
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

Fearing the Lord... you then start to receive wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One... diggin into God's word and seeing what He has to say and show you through passages and scripture... that is where we start to understand.

Now I get it.. I understand.
