"Go to my brothers..."

Jesus' first contact with someone after he was raised from the dead and he tells Mary to go to his "brothers". Earlier Jesus had told them that they were right to call him master and lord, which of course he was and is. Still, instead of telling Mary to go tell the disciples something, he rather uses the term brothers. Jesus had accomplished on the cross the reconciliation of mankind. He had made a way for us to get back to God. He had sealed the deal of adoption for the Father. So, now we are joint heirs, brothers and sisters of the Son of God. His Father is our Father. Amazing!

So may you live in the reality of being the Father's son or daughter today. May you understand the wealth of all you have in Him. May you walk hand in hand with your brother and Savior Jesus Christ. And may you embrace His work in you living in Him as your source!
