His Hand
God has sacrificed his only son to save us; would he really let us die? God can hear our pleas and our sorrows, just like he heard the cry of the Hebrews. His hand is not too short that he can not catch us when we stumble, fall, or jump. He knows our needs and he hears our voice crying out to him in darkness and in light. He is strong enough to save us from danger, and he is compassionate enough to embrace us, and he will forever be holy enough to redeem us from the sin we have been born into and commit ourselves. God is the almighty God and the only God; he has given us more than we deserve and performed miracles that are unfathomable. So is he not strong enough to save our souls? Does his hand around us not hold us tight?
