Salvation by Faith
When first reading this one might think that Moses was instructing the people to worship an idol however if you look deeper at this you realize the people will be saved by faith. They have faith that this will save them.
Jesus was lifted up high on a cross just like this snake was lifted up high on a pole. It doesn't seem logical that looking at a snake will save anyone but neither does it seem logical that God would die on a pole for us.
It is by faith we are saved!
