No wonder the Jews have such a problem with Jesus.
14 In fact, their minds were grown hard and calloused [they had become dull and had lost the power of understanding]; for until this present day, when the Old Testament (the old covenant) is being read, that same veil still lies [on their hearts], not being lifted [to reveal] that in Christ it is made void and done away. I am sure that as gentiles we cannot appreciate the value that the law and old covernant traditions have for the Jewish individual and for them to see that Christ is the fullfilment of that law would mean a complete turn around in their thinking and lives. How wonderful that there are those Jews who have truly found life in Christ. However it also helps one to understand why Jewish Christians are so hated by their fellow countrymen.
