Come to your senses

I have to just laugh out loud when I read verse 11 in the NLT translation;
"Peter finally came to his senses. It's really true!", he said. "The Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me!"

I laugh because I know of so many times when in the mist God working in my life I don't recognize Him and then all of a sudden, "I come to my senses!" I understand that God does work in my life and as the scriptures read on, God works through one event to minister and witness to others.
