Who Made Mouths?

God reminds Moses that He is the Creator of mouths and the One who gives the ability to speak, at all, and the ability to speak well. The condition for Moses to be given the ability to speak well, though, is his faithful obedience to the instruction of God. Obedience comes FIRST, THEN God's blessing of what Moses has to offer will follow. It's like the saying that church people use--"Where God leads, He provides."

One of my major hesitances, if not THE major hesitance, in moving forward into new work for God is the burden of being the primary mouthpiece of a group. I still don't have the confidence that I could be that, and do it well. I suppose one way God might be testing me is to see if I'll move in that direction without that assurance beforehand.

God, you know that I want only what You want for me. Confirm in my heart if and when you desire for me to start something new.
