Jesus IS God

Those who don't think Jesus ever claimed to be God have simply not read the Scriptures. Jesus knew the Old Testament, as did the Jewish people. And Jesus knew that they knew it. Psalm 10:16 says, "The Lord is King forever and ever." When Jesus says, "Yes, I am the King," He is saying, "Yes, I AM the LORD, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." (Exodus 3:15)

I live among a people who, the majority of, claim to be the one true church of Jesus, who revere him as savior and lord, and who claim to want to be more like him, but who deny the essential nature of who He is. Every doctrine they have, then, is fruit from a tree that is poisoned at its root. The answer to the question, "who is Jesus?" must be foundational to the changing of our culture--by people coming to know Him!

God, I want to help people to know You. I want them to know Jesus, Immanuel, the Word of God. Help me do that.
