There's Forgiveness in Jesus, Alone
Jesus delegates His authority to His followers. And He has a very explicit, exclusive message for those followers to share. We are on one side of eternity's destiny or the other. We are on the side of being our own boss and, therefore, under the condemnation of our own sins, or we are on the side where the LORD is our King and we are co-heirs of His Kingdom with Jesus. We all start on the side of being our own boss. The question is, 'will we change sides?" That is the message of repentance. And for those who do repent, and turn to Jesus, alone, as their LORD and King, their sins are forgiven.
The message we are to share in 2010 is no different than the one Jesus gave to His Apostles. Forgiveness comes from turning to Jesus.
God, give us boldness and clarity as we proclaim THE Gospel message--"forgiveness in Jesus!"
