Temples are Trifles
People are always trying to bring God down to our level and put Him in a box that we can understand and control. We continue, after thousands of years, to convince ourselves of the lie of Satan--that we can be like God--because, after all, He's not that different than you & I.
This blasphemy is, perhaps, nowhere as strong in the world as it is where I live. The idea that God is just a man who was "a really good person" really brings him down to a place where it is more conceivable that his spirit could be contained in what some might call a fancy (if morose) building called a "temple". People need to know YaHWeH God!
God, I want to make your Name famous right here where I live. I want people to know that You cannot be contained in temples, that You are the All-Powerful One True God of the Universe.
