No Wimpy Christians!

Being the daughter of a Coach, this is how I relate to this chapter. Jesus is the ultimate Coach! In Matthew 10, Jesus gives us the game plan!

Jesus tells us to GO out and preach to the lost. Not those who have heard of Him, but rather those who have not. " but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" Matthew 10:6

Not only telling them of the "good news" and giving them hope, but also transforming their lives! I think that as Christians, we are often passive when it comes to praying over the sick, and casting out demons. We "forget" that we have been given authority over unclean spirits - and are commanded to cast them out! "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons." Matthew 10:8

Why is it that we do not stand BOLDLY against our adversary? When we are faced with trouble, we quickly cave instead of taking VIOLENT action. YES, WE CAN BE VIOLENT CHRISTIANS!!!! Violent against the principalities of evil. "the Kingdom of Heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12

I don't know who you think that we are up against. But let me tell you, it ain't no wimpy devil. He is not passive, and has no leniency in his evil tactics. He comes to kill, steal and to destroy. And it is about time that we stop playing "Christianity" and rise up and be the BOLD Christians that we are called to be! In the Kingdom of God, there is no room for wimpy Christians!

Lord,
Help me to realize my full potential through you. Help me to be BOLD. Holy Spirit, lead me and guide me. Help me to see a person in need, and give me the boldness to do something about it. Most of all, Lord, help me to be a good steward of your word. Help me to guard my heart and to meditate in your word.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
