This is one of my favorite. The conflict between Paul and Barnabas over John Mark is a perfect example of how our spiritual growth is an on-going process. Even though they were both mature men of faith, Paul and Barnabas had to deal with conflict and anger. Barnabas was the "encourager" and Mark later regained Paul's respect, worked with Peter and wrote the gospel of Mark which encourages other to have faith in Jesus. Isn't that what we as a church should be doing today......Encouraging one another instead of critizing one another?
