forgetful God

7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good. Psalm 25:7 TNIV

This is a unique scripture in that the writer is asking God to do what He does best and that is to love us unconditionally for who we are. Not to look on our mistakes but to see us as His children whom He loves dearly, even reminding God how good he is.

At times I look at who I am and what I have done and then look at God and wonder how He can still love me and use me. But I am reminded today that He does love me and does forgive me and will still use me because He is so good!

God how amazing you are that you would love me and use and today I thank you so much for that. Thanks for being forgetful.
