God's Grace
Cain was warned by God not to let jealousy and sin master him but he still proceeded to kill his brother. Can you imagine what God was going through? God's own son killed his brother out of jealousy. I can't imagine the kind of anguish that would cause. Even through all of that God had mercy on Cain. He promised that he would protect him with a mark. How beautiful is that grace. And he loves all of us with that same passion even after we sin against Him.
