Something So Pure
As I'm going through the Proverbs, I came across this particular one, and it reminded me of everything thats going on with my generation today. I lived 18 years of my life. PURE. Made it through high school a virgin. Now, I understand everyone has they're own choices and the right thing to do is to wait for marriage, but everyone makes a decision. I think the young women of my generation need to get it together; just thing about it, back in the day you were married by 19 and had a family. These days the children have a family. Personally I am only 20, If I ended up carrying a life (which is a blessing.) I wouldnt know what to do. In todays day and age these young girls are starting to give away the most precious thing they have other than life itself, at 12-15 years old.... It is incredibly to young. Sex drive everyones life, its on TV, Magazines, I mean you cant even got to a car show with out seeing a half naked woman. I by far am no saint, but at the same time i waited. Nor am I running around giving it away, These girls think its okay to have multiple partners and run around within the same circles, Its not. I feel like its not a piece of candy you dont just give it out to anyone, it is your sweetest of sweets, like sugar cane in its purest form. Savor it, keep it, hold it, & if your going to give someone a piece, dont give it to a bystander who just came up and was interested, give it to the person that helped you plant it, grow it, and chuck it. Someone whos been there and wont leave your life as soon as it is gone. Young women of the world make decisions wisely. and by all means if you are going to lead such and adult lifestyle that is wrong at 12-15 years of age...PROTECT YOURSELF. PROTECT YOUR LIFE. YOU ONLY GET ONE TO LIVE, SO MAKE THE MOST OF IT AND GET SMART WISE AND HIP. Its not the coolest thing to do but if you must do it, be smart about it.
