Stood on this word for that much needed job
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the words of the the Lord, heard Romans 8:18 in a song by Detrick Haddon called "Amen." I was at month 10 of no work and 7 of those months spent searching after first three in meditation to come up with a plan. Received this word in song a month ago. Would play nothing else on home stereo or car IPod, while submitting applications for work over the internet. I reckoned that the sufferings of this age were not worthy to be compared to the glory which my Lord has for me in this life and in the life to come. I lived, slept, ate and dreampt that promise. Just received my first paycheck for a job I've been on for two weeks, and took the Lord a thanks offering last week and a tithe offering this week. Every valley SHALL be exalted, and every mountain (obstacle) and hill made low. God delivered at the moment I heard, received and believed his Word, and the work I am doing now, both at my new job and in the ministry of life is testimony to the delivering power of faith and of walking in and standing upon the promises of God. Worked for me. Always has. I know that it always will.
