Starting a relationship with God and the Bible
Last Week while talking with a friend I realized I know God but didn't know that much about Him or the bible. I set out on a self voyage in order to find out more wanting to know more. Not having the means to get to church every Sunday and not understanding myself the bible (words, references, etc) I began searching online. I recently joined a Bible Study Group on facebook but it has not started anything yet basically where to begin. One person posted this website so I thought hey why not take a look. This so far has been the easiest website to use,understand and get something out of it. I joined a reading plan and certainly hope to do more. I still have questions but am glad that I found this website. I started with Genesis 1 and Luke 1 and with the audio and contemporary Bible its easier to understand. I am not familiar with all the story, books and people. But just with my reading today I am starting to understand. I am certainly glad that I am starting a fresh new bond with the Lord and can say that this is my true beginning.
