44 “See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” Mark 1:44 TNIV
We often forget about the religious leaders of that day and lean on the scriptures that say ...Jesus came for the sick... and in our minds think about the prostitutes and tax collectors. But Jesus also knew that the Pharisees were sick as well being full of self-righteousness and unbelief as to who Jesus really was. So he sends this newly healed man to the temple where the priest are for are than just a sacrifice of thanks but more so to be a testimony to these leaders steeped in themselves.
This scripture reminds me today to never write off anyone as someone who doesn’t need to hear the truth about Jesus Christ. Jesus came to die for the whole world and he loves everyone.
God thank you so much for this reminder today! Please help me to be aware of those who i may have written off.
