Time of Refreshing
In addressing the spiritual leaders of the day Peter tells them to repent from their religious piety and to turn to a relationship with Jesus that they too may have a time of refreshing. It's easy to see as a believer that when someone who is bogged down by the weight of the world comes into contact with Jesus and decides to follow him there is a refreshing that takes place. The atonement for sin, and the justification of the sinner is something that can't be described, but to say that you feel refreshed is an understatement. When you feel the weight of your sin lifted off of you. You will be Refreshed in deed!!!
