The best God could do
God had made it fantastic good for Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. By their disobedience they were affected with the sinful mind of Satan, himself to heighten. Instead of let them die immediately, God made a long term plan to save mankind. Adam and Eve had to learn that God was good and gave them new possibilities. It was his love that they were punished. They and nobody else has come out of the influence of Satan until Jesus came and He crushed the head of Satan, but by Him we can overcome and be free from the poison of the serpent
