Before I read this scripture, I said a prayer hoping to catch revelation about something relative to my life. When I read the bible verse, I got the basic meaning of leaving your past behind you and remaining hopeful for something greater. However, when I read your contribution the revelation hit me and brought me back to a mental and emotional place that I was in, just about a half an hour before. I was expressing to someone how difficult it is for me to let go of my anger regarding a situation that didn't happen to me but to him. Overall, he is the one that is more willing to forgive this individual, and I found that my mentioning of this individual's transgressions helped no one. The only thing it did was to resuscitate deep rooted animosities towards this individual, which ironically I care very deeply for also. In the end, I will be retested on this again. Thank You LORD for being the GOD of second Chances!!
