Are you QUIET or LOUD?
Every Sunday Christians around the world make a LOUD confession (some louder than others) of their faith and their relationship with Christ. Worship leaders around the world get up on stage and raise our hands, use our gifts, close our eyes and let hundreds of people know in a BIG way that we love Jesus. But what God tells us here is that our strength is found in the QUIET consistency of returning to Him. This happens during the week when we are off stage, when the lights go out, and we’re not in front of people and there's no applause.
That's what our goal should be as Christians - faith modeled in quiet consistency MORE than loud confession.
