Those who are not with me are against me.
Jesus made it clear in this chapter that those that are not with him are against him, meaning you cannot serve 2 masters, or somehow be "in between". I'm completely sold out to God, BUT i'm also a sinner that struggles everyday to quell the desires of a sinful flesh. Jesus continues in this chapter going from place to place healing the sick and giving them small lessons to live by. I took away 2 Main points from this text..
1. Jesus said that a tree will be known by its fruit. What that means is the way you live or have lived will be evident in people you interact with OR the children you bring into this world. If you lived a very sinful life, then chances are you kids will end up the same way.
2. The only sin that CANNOT be forgiven is Blasphemy against the holy sprit/GOD/ Jesus. What that means is essentially worshiping the devil and Totally disregarding anything that has to do with God. I believe that must know of GOD first and then make a conscious decision to FOLLOW and WORSHIP the devil in order to fit into this category.
