"Purify the altar, and consecrate it every day for seven days. After that, the altar will be absolutely holy, and whatever touches it will become holy."

I want a holy life, but I'm not always willing to sacrifice it for the Lord. I want a holy marriage, but not at the expense of sacrificing it for the Lord. I want holy children but not if I have to give them up. We ask God to bless our homes, our lives, our families ... But usually we want Him to bless us on our terms. Whatever touches the altar is HOLY. But it requires me to let go of it, put it on the altar before God so He can make it Holy. Asking God to search my heart today and show me what I need to lay on the altar.
