We must willingly receive

"And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them." -Mark 6:5

We know Jesus is God, and could have do anything he wants - except that we have free will, he's given us a choice. Could this passage mean that there in his home town they were not willingly accepting his mighty works?

I have found that the Lord has so much good for me but unless I'm willing to accept it - unless my heart, and my mind are aligned, and I by a choice of will accept the good things I won't receive them.

This passage seems closely, though conversely aligned with all the times that Jesus says "Your faith has healed you".

We must believe, and we must receive with open hearts. Sometimes taking the good things the Lord has for us is difficult, but who are we to turn them down?
