Can't put it on the back burner
You ever have one of those days, where you're doing devotions and it turns out that God has hand picked your reading. If so, that's what has happened to me today. I knew all break long, that I need to do something about some of my relationships. So, taking a page out of a Melody Carlson book, I sacrificed them on God's alter and asked for help. Not easy! I'm a stubborn soul, who doesn't like things, whatever they maybe, hanging over my head and well, I allowed these relationships to do just that and even fester a little. This will take work but it'll be worth it if I can stick with it.
Lord, you know what I put on your alter and what needs to be done. I'll need all the help I can get but the main thing is... help me to not take them back after I've given them to you. Today is a good day thus far and it is bound to get better. Thank you.
