RE: REFLECT (joebecky2)

In response to joebecky2,

I couldn't find a way to reply directly to your post so I hope you see this!

I too have been struggling with the same addiction, and several other sins. My church just began a sermon series on the seven deadly sins. It's been quite revealing. I've also been dealing with the recent divorce of my parents. The main reason for it was one's addiction to alcohol while the other enabled the addiction. I have started attending a faith-based group called Celebrate Recovery - below is a link to a site that was shared with me - it covers a full range of personal issues...read the pdfs. Many churches across the country provide this program, so I hope you find one near to you. I'm attending as an adult child of alcoholics but know that I have other issues. My suggestion to you is to find a faith-based group or couselor to start the healing process. It sounds like you are ready.

My prayers are with you, and I hope you find the solace you and your family need.
