Faith, prayer, and forgiveness they all go together!

In this passage, Jesus instructs us to have faith in God, to truly embrace this God kind of life. He tells us that nothing will be too hard us. That we will be able to tell a mountain to move and it will move. And since this is coming from Jesus, I truly believe that this means once we truly employ faith within our lives we are able to move a metaphorical or even a physical mountain. With faith, we must not have doubt in our heart, we must count it as already being done. "Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it". Faith enables us to trust in the almighty God, rather than our circumstances.

Jesus also tells us whatever we ask for in prayer we shall receive. Jesus is encouraging us to pray about everything big or small and He will take care of it. The message translation adds on, "Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything." (Mark 11:24). To be this confident within our prayer life, faith a prerequisite that must be fulfilled first. We must have faith that God hears our prayers, and will answer it according to His will.

Lastly, in order to be absolutely effective in our prayer life we must not have an unforgiveness in our hearts. If we are holding something against someone we must release it, this is the only way God can go ahead and give us a clean slate as well. "Don't let unforgiveness limit what God wants to do in your life"

So hopefully you are able to see how faith, prayer, and forgiveness go hand and hand. And Jesus made a point to discuss these three pertinent aspects of our spiritual lives together. To develop an essential winning combination in life, be sure to utilize faith, prayer, and forgiveness together.
