29 Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. Mark 11:29 TNIV

The religious leaders of the day had all kinds of questions for Jesus birthed out of unbelief and a growing to desire to get rid of Him. It’s no wonder Jesus would not answer any of their questions. Although they were educated in the law they didn’t get that Jesus was the fulfillment of prophecy. It would be pointless to keep answering questions to someone who does not believe anyway. Their intentions of finding out more answers where simply to find things wrong with who Jesus said He was.

I know people like this and even a few in my own family that just want to push buttons and poke at the truth. It’s sad but according this scripture they will never be able to understand the truth because of unbelief they already have and the intentions in their heart. The only thing I can do is pray that through some circumstance they will understand that God is God and can be trusted and can be followed.

Lord I pray for all my unbelieving friends and family whose hearts are hard toward you and only have intentions to harm and attack your truth and not genuinely seek it.
