Will the REAL CHRISTIANS please stand up!?!?
Why don't Christians represent Christ at all times? Seems to me that we are not following the scripture of Romans 12:2. It's instructions to the Christians to be not of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We've got to renew our minds people of God. We're too much like the world! And I don't mean in the way we dress or the movies we watch or some other kind of trivial mess we teach in church! I'm talking about our minds. We've got to think more like Christ which will in turn make us act more like Christ. We think too much like the world think and it's killing us as a body! When we let wordly principles guide our lives, we might as well put poison into our body (of Christ).
We are not to act like the world, be like the world or even seem like the world. We must be transformed! So I encourage every Christian reading today--especially us young Christians--to represent Christ just as much as we represent mess! Actually; replace the mess we represent with more Godly things. Are we in this thing for real?
Your facebook status should not have curse words, nasty rap lyrics and sexual innuendo. Your myspace shouldn't have half naked pictures of you up there showing off your body. If a man is attracted to your physical "goods" first and only, he has no interest in getting to know your mental "goods." It's the old saying of "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" Stop giving away your milk!
Your attitude needs adjusting too Christians. We treat people like they are beneath us when they're not saved. We treat people as outsiders. We go to our local fast food restaurant and treat the cashier like an idiot. SO WHAT they got your order wrong! So what they are taking too long! YOU'RE GOD'S CHILD and that's not how we represent him!!!
Learn how to speak life to people at all times. Even when the cashier is getting on your nerves. Even when you're on social media. Even when you're with your friends. You don't have to be extra deep quoting scriptures and carrying big Bibles around but you do need to be a Christian. BE saved for real and represent Christ!
So, WILL THE REAL CHRISTIANS PLEASE STAND UP?
