The most meaningful bible verse.
Matthew chapters 16 and 17 were truly packed with useful things to put into your toolbox. Chapter 16 starts out with the disciples somewhat still doubting the power of Jesus. Jesus was told by the disciples that many did not believe that he was the Son of God, so he asked a very simple question... what is it that you guys believe (to the disciples)? Simon spoke up and said that he believed in Jesus whole-heartedly. And at that spot God build his church.. The chapters continued on with Jesus telling of his future, how he would be tortured, tried and eventually killed ONLY to rise again in 3 days.. Jesus later said "for what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life". This verse really resonated with me. Just think about life on earth, is it worth not being saved for the little time we are here on earth and give up what you are guaranteed when you die???? Jesus goes on with perhaps one of the most meaningful bible verses in the bible (in my opinion), "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains". Jesus told this to the disciples because they were still doubting his power AND their own power. We must realize as a descendant of a king that we have POWER to do the extraordinary.... that includes heal the sick, defeat demonic entities, and the list goes on and on... Nothing is impossible for GOD through Jesus!!!! Jesus has shown us time and time again that he has given us this power as long as we just have a little faith. FAITH, FAITH, FAITH... Don't leave home without it and renew it every single day.
