Praise God for tribulations!
22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.
We as a people of God must come to a point where we are praising God for tribulations! It is through these hard times, these trying times, these times that we are brought down to our knees either by others, or our own stupid choices, or by mountains that are in front of us, it is through these tribulations that we have nothing to cling to but our Savior. We are able to see God, to see His power, to see our own need for HIM. We learn that this trial we are going through is impossible for us to do it on our own. During these times, it is only by the strength of God that we can continue, only by HIS grace. When we, as a follower of Christ realize this we grow closer to HIM. We are able to see HIM in our lives, HIS power becomes evident, and though we see and feel HIS presence I believe God will be glorified when others see us prevail through whatever tribulation it is we are going through!
Praise God for the tribulations of life, for the stretching of our faith, for the things in life that bring us crawling to the altar of God and lay those things down before HIM as a sacrifice to HIM knowing that HE is the only way! Praise God for things of past that you have delt with, things that make you wonder why you went through those things. Praise HIM! Because without HIM would you of made it? HE was there, before it happened, while it was happening, and after it happened and though it pains HIM to see us go through it, we have to.
Christ also had to suffer. God knew it was going to happen, HE was there before it happened, HE knew it was going to happen since the creation of the world. HE knew His son was going to suffer greatly. HE was there while it was happening. HE had to watch every aching thing that someone did to HIS own son. HE knew the awful, perverted, angry thoughts of the ones that were convicting, torturing, and murdering HIS son. HE could of stopped it. Yet, it is through that tribulation that many would enter the KIngdom of God.
I hate the Jesus suffered so much. I hate it! Yet, I do praise God for it! I praise God that HE loves me so much to let that happen.
I hate that I suffered so much pain in my life, I hate it! Yet, I praise God for it! I praise God that HE loves me so much, that even through heartache I can see HIS face! Even through the pain I cause myself, it is HIS hands I cling to. Even though people persucute me, it is HIS glory that will be shown!
So praise HIM! You will be able to enter the Kingdom of God! For you are dearly, dearly loved!
